Assessment of surface suspended sediments in the Dam basin as well as at the river estuaries. Assigned code: SSS

Building a dam is very costly. Therefore, it is expected to use this investment for many years aftermath. The sediments carried by water in the rainy season, may considerably decrease the dam basin capacity. Monitoring and measuring the amount of surface suspended sediments entering the dam basin may help planning for dredging and managing sediment flow and subsidence. KRSLab have conducted an experiment named Water Suspended-sediment Modelling Experiment (WSMEx) for calibration of satellite images for this task and is ready to provide quantitative maps of sediment distribution for any dam in any country around the world especially for members of CTCN with a competitive price.
